Did you know that IFC Section 901.9 now requires that the fire alarm monitoring agency is required to notify the local fire official when services are terminated? This would include any time a facility changes providers. This code change should help you as the local AHJ keep a better track of the systems that the monitoring is terminated from either a change or simply because somebody did not pay their bill.
Here is a sneak peek of a couple of our new marketing materials / flyers. We are pretty excited about our new batch! There’s plenty more with additional designs.

Townzen & Associates has been awarded a contract with Clover Park School District to provide full AHJ services (permitting, plan review, and inspection) for both building code and fire code for two new schools, Clark Moor Elementary and Greenwood Elementary, located at Joint Base Lewis McChord. This is the 2nd such contract for T&A with Clover Park School District. T&A is currently preparing for final inspection for two other schools that have been under construction the last twelve months, also located at JBLM.
The above photo shows the construction progress of the project. Hillside Elementary is 78,000 square feet and Carter Lake is 72,000 square feet. Our quick turnaround times for plan review of the building permit allowed construction to start one week earlier than anticipated.
